Accounting and Acquisitions
Michelle Schaefle is indispensable to our day-to-day operations, and her job at UDP is continually expanding as we acquire new properties. She serves a central role in a variety of projects related to real estate acquisition, development, and management. Michelle oversees our internal bookkeeping, accounting, and file management, and she also lends her expertise in communications and marketing. Michelle works side-by-side with several of our team members: she provides
multifaceted support to Neeley Wells with property management; to Cheryl Good with bookkeeping; and to Mark Vuong with project management.
Before joining UDP, Michelle managed a veterinary hospital for 12 years. Raised in southeast Portland, she attended Franklin High School and studied Business Administration with an emphasis on Accounting at the Northwest College of Business. Michelle also studied at the Veterinary Management Institute at Purdue University, and she has done extensive coursework at Portland Community College (psychology, accounting, photography). Michelle lives with her husband and two boys just a mile from her childhood home, enjoys travel, and has a great love of the outdoors.
