PDX COMMONS is a Senior Cohousing Community founded on the shared values of Respect, Cooperation, Nurturing and Optimism. The building incorporates design features, amenities and common areas designed with thoughtful input from members to promote active lifestyles and facilitate aging in place.

Located at 4262 SE Belmont Street, in Portland’s Sunnyside neighborhood, PDX Commons is a contemporary, four-story building featuring 27 private, single-level living spaces and over 5,000 square feet of common spaces. As lead developer and project manager, UD+P worked in close collaboration with residents and members of the project team, including lead architect Works Progress Architecture and general contractor Abbott Construction, to create a building that embodies residents’ collective vision, lifestyle and design preferences.
