Reliable 3103 SE Division Street Reliable is our LEED Gold certified redevelopment of the former “Reliable Parts” building at 3103 SE Division Street. Previously an underutilized property, Reliable has invigorated this desirable urban neighborhood with thoughtfully designed retail and residential space. Whereas other companies might have completely demolished Reliable has 8,000 square feet of retail and one residential unit on the ground floor, with 12 residential units upstairs plus an outdoor residential courtyard private to the residents. The apartments at Reliable were awarded LEED Gold status by the U.S. Green Building Council. The residential units were fully leased and occupied almost immediately, and our retail tenants have helped establish Division Street as one of Portland’s go-to destinations for food and drink. Jenn Louis and David Welch’s Sunshine Tavern opened to rave reviews by food critics from The Oregonian and other news outlets, and Louis’s “Sunshine Baked Eggs” recipe was featured in the Wall Street Journal. WAFU noodle house chef Trent Pierce has been lauded as a “rising kitchen star,” and WAFU made PDX Tastemaker’s “Best New Restaurants of 2011” list. Bula Kava House is making waves as Portland’s first establishment dedicated to kava, a beverage made from kava root that is a fixture of many Polynesian cultures. Rounding out the ground-floor retail is Urban Waxx, a popular salon that chose Reliable to be the home of its third Portland location.
